Transitions: As With-in So With-out:: Arm Balance & Inversion series

So many forms & expressions of yoga this day & age. Truth be told, the reason I was first drawn to Yoga was for all the arm balances and inversions, seeing the possibility of taking flight. As I continue to deepen my practice I discover so many more subtle concepts that add to the magic & ability to link our postures seamlessly & effortlessly! These TRANSITIONS are possible through a forcing of the body, which I have done and realized there is another way!

Honoring the foundations of this practice of Yoga, we will more deeply discover & utilize Pranayama (breath control), Bandha (deep internal muscular activation) & Dhristi (single point of focus). With these tools and a bit of imagination we will explore many arm balances like that of Bakasana (Crow’s Pose) & Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Downward Facing Tree Pose) in so many of their different expression & with ease!

This will be a 3 hour no-levels workshop where we have the time - space & permission to breath move & more deeply explore these “advanced” postures in Yoga. Please join us!
