Investigate The Body – Level Up Your Practice
This three part workshop series is a playful inquiry into your own anatomy and the wild possibilities
you have for movement. We will ask questions, test our answers, apply the use of physics, and arm
ourselves with props to not only make the poses more accessible, but to challenge ourselves. To
keep the body safe and happy, we will cover proper warm-up and recovery poses.
Sun. Feb 25th 2-4pm
By creating space and strengthening the core we can safely explore common heart opening poses like Camel, Wheel, Crescent Moon, Bow, and Dancer’s Pose.
Sun. Mar 11th 2-4pm
This isn’t The Gun Show, it’s about balance. Find your center and line up the body in unique positions like baby grasshopper, crow, side crow, with plenty of variations on these shapes.
Sun. Mar 25th 2-4pm
